Denver Art Museum houses a collection of exhibits with all types of art pieces, including paintings, sculptures, and more. Through early September, the Natural Forces exhibit is open and featuring 60 pieces from Winslow Homer and Frederic Remington. Eyes On shows the works of Anthony McCall, a London-born artist who uses shifting configurations of light and dark to create unique pieces. Shantell Martin: Words and Lines is an interactive multimedia installation that will be available through the end of January 2021.
Kirkland Museum of Fine & Decorative Art
During a visit to Kirkland Museum of Fine & Decorative Art, you can experience international art pieces as well as those created by regional and local artists. The museum is open Tuesday through Sunday until 5 p.m. and is closed Mondays. Members get in free, while general admission for ages 13 and over is $10. Seniors, teachers, students, and those under the age of 13 get in for $8. The curators of this museum take pride in creating a noticeably different atmosphere than what you’ll experience in most other places.
